FOCUS!


Imagine yourself with a small mirror. You are standing in the sun (the sun is so hot that it could figuratively fry one’s forehead) and getting scattered light beams by just tossing the mirror here and there. Finally, you decide to focus the mirror onto a leaf, still in the direction of the sun. Leaving it there for a while, you discover that the leaf catches fire!
Just as when digestive enzymes flood a portion of the gastrointestinal tract it results in rapid digestion of food materials, when focused light falls on a leaf, it causes the leaf to catch fire.
The truth is that focus does to a man what enzymes do to food and focused light to a leaf.
Do you have an unclear vision? Focus on prayer till you can state that vision in clear terms- maybe in not more than a few words. Even if/when you have a clear vision, scattered revelation will not produce the desired effect. Focus is a great prerequisite for the fulfillment of dreams and purposes.

Don’t be so worried if you don’t even have a vision yet, set time aside to truly seek… whoever seeks finds!

LIKE FAITH AND LOVE

Gal 5:6 - For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love. The heart and the lungs are like faith and love, their functions intertwined, their locations proximate, the feelings that they generate just as conclusive. They produce hope for the survival of the physical body, just like faith and love produce hope for the spiritual body’s survival. Experiences of today made me realize something: we need faith intertwined with love to breathe as spirit beings, as much as we need the functional capacity of our cardio-respiratory apparatuses to breathe the breath of life. It’s that important…faith and love I mean.
