Could
our pain result in persevering palpable patience? Because everyone has peculiar
hurts; and its seemingly useless if our pains are just a rite of passage into
‘maturity’. There’s a better option though:
Be
assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out
endurance and steadfastness and patience. (James 1:3; AMP)
So
when we’re tempted to think our hearts hurt too much and we can survive no
more, remember that patience, steadfastness, deep strength is to be borne from
our pain, as well as exemplary leadership for as many as come behind us.
And [also] most of the brethren have derived
fresh confidence in the Lord because of my chains and are much more bold to
speak and publish fearlessly the Word of God [acting with more freedom and indifference
to the consequences]. (Phil 1:14; AMP)
How
great would it be to ascertain that someone damned the consequences and chose
the right path because of your choice to forge ahead regardless of the battles
being constantly fought in your mind?
True
fulfillment comes when we discover that our aches and struggles have resulted
in the dawn of a new day in the hearts of others; the naissance of great things
to come in several packages of fearlessness.
Let
us hold our heads high as disseminators of true strength!
