“This
factor of reduction in estimation is beyond me.”
Is
46:5- “So to whom will you compare me, the Incomparable? Can you picture me
without reducing me?”
Even
in the world of chronic juxtaposition, there’s only so much one can do! Can we picture God without reducing him? How
far is the span of one’s imagination? Even the most intricately organized
system of the human body is completely inferior to the weight of his glory…no
system captures our God that well.
So
when I am tempted to ask why I’m doing this, comparing the incomparable; I’m
reminded of the fact that he lives in me, and progressively reveals as much of
himself that I’m capable of handling to me- as long as I’m willing to
accommodate his ultimate peculiarity.
Look
into the horizon…how far can you see?
